On May 21-22, 2024, the Electronic and Electromagnetic Compatibility Subcommittee of the National Automotive Standardization Technical Committee (hereinafter referred to as the "Automotive Electronics Subcommittee") held its 2024 standard review meeting in Guiyang. More than 50 members and representatives from the Automotive Electronics Subcommittee, as well as representatives from the standard drafting group, attended the meeting. Gong Jinfeng, Assistant General Manager of China Automotive Technology Research Center Co., Ltd. and Chairman of the Automotive Electronics Subcommittee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

Gong Jinfeng first thanked the attending committee members and experts for their attendance, fully acknowledging the important role of standardization work in the field of automotive electronics. He systematically reviewed the progress and effectiveness of standardization work in the automotive electronics sub committee in the first half of 2024, and clearly proposed the work content and requirements for standard project initiation and review at this meeting.

The meeting reviewed and approved the project application for 8 recommended national standards, including the Electromagnetic Protection Identification for Road Vehicle Occupants, and 1 mandatory national standard, the Vehicle mounted Wireless Broadcasting Receiving Terminal. The meeting reviewed and approved two recommended national standards, "Technical Requirements and Test Methods for Vehicle mounted Positioning Systems Part 1: Satellite Positioning" and "Performance Requirements and Test Methods for Road Vehicle Handsfree Communication and Voice Interaction".

Subsequently, the Automotive Electronics Sub Committee will complete the project application and approval work of the standards as soon as possible in accordance with the spirit of the meeting, orderly promote the research and revision of standards, fully participate in the coordination of international standards and regulations, and support the healthy and sustainable development of China's automotive electronics industry.
